THE BATTLE OF KYIV
It was a memorable night for Liverpool F.C fans yesterday as they watch their team edge out Roma at Stadio Olimpico on a 7-6 goals aggregate to secure a showdown with 12-time champions, Real Madrid for the champions league final to be determined in Kyiv on May 26, 2018.

After missing out of champions league football for some years, Liverpool will be looking forward to winning the trophy they last won in 2007 against AC Milan on a night when the latter was on the verge of lifting the trophy with a three goal lead. On the other side, the defending champions, Real Madrid will be looking to set yet another record in the history of the biggest club cup competition if they defeat Liverpool. A victory will see them extend their record in the competition as the only team to have won 13 times and 3 times consecutively while the victory will also see Zinedine Zidane become the first coach to win it three times in a roll.

Both teams play the same pattern of football and they both have match winners in Four-time world footballer of the year, Cristiano Ronaldo for Real Madrid and recently crowned PFA player of the year in the English Premier League, Mo Salah for Liverpool. A victory for either team will earn them a silverware for the 2017/2018 football season. Who do you think will lift the trophy at NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kyiv?
